Monochromatic Organic
About
This client wanted a California style with shades of beige from cream to bronze. Everything was replaced in the home from floors to paint to kitchen to furniture.
-
All of the original flooring (tile and carpet) was removed and replaced with a warm wood toned luxury plank vinyl throughout the house, creating a seamless look.

The kitchen was builder-grade from early 2010s. It had laminate countertops, mid tone brown cabinets with no hardware, no black splash, a cheap sink and mis-matched appliances. While we left the layout the same, everything else was upgraded! The perimeter cabinets were painted Sherwin Williams Greek Villa. The Island was painted a contrasting color of Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze. The countertops are now a beautiful quartz. We added a deep sink and a goose-neck faucet. All of the appliances were replaced. AND a tile backsplash was added, including the full wall where the sink is located.
-
All of the walls and trim where painted from the original yellow beige to a neutral cream palatte. The main color is Sherwin Williams Greek Villa. Several accents wall were painted with Sherwin Williams Popular Gray, Perfect Geige, and Urbane Bronze. Upstairs we added some blue with Sherwin Williams Indigo Batik.

This family had not bought any new furniture since they moved into the home over 10 years ago. So all of the furniture in every single room was replaced with new updated pieces. also the lighting was replaced in the kitchen, living room, dining room, entry and the bedrooms. Finally, I bought in decor and plants to further enhance the cool California organic vibes.
